It's just ordinary glue

I always use this and it's important to fill the bottle half, then set the figure in it - and then carefully pour the rest of glue over it, so that it doesn't sink under the weight of pouring - you know what I mean? ^^°
if you do all that, then it stays in the middle and never moves around ^^

Oh! I think the glue I have would dry white, though... I'll have to look for some clear glue. I wonder if clear hair gel would work. xD Thank you for the tips!

Hmm, I guess hair gel would be too 'soft/liquid' - but you can always give it a try, good luck ^^
